It is more important than ever to position yourself among young people as a prospective employer and to give them the feeling that a strong future lies ahead with FERALPI STAHL.

This was what drove us to take a new direction in our search for trainees. Using the slogan “Building our future on Stahl!” (“Wir bauen unsere Zukunft auf Stahl!”), we advertised for interested, motivated young people to start their careers at one of Europe’s most state-of-the-art steelworks: FERALPI STAHL in Riesa, Germany. We placed particular emphasis on vacancies for traineeships starting in 2021: process technologists at the steelworks and the rolling mill (m/f/x), industrial mechanics (m/f/x), machine and plant operators (m/f/x), and electronic technicians for industrial engineering (m/f/x).

In addition to the traditional advertisements on our website and the relevant online portals, as well as adverts in various print media, we also made use of our new social media channels. Thanks to our own staff lending a hand too, our newly created Facebook and Instagram accounts achieved a huge reach.

As FERALPI STAHL, we attach great value to regionality. That is why it is particularly important to us to reach young people from the local area and inspire them to work for us. For this reason, we used billboard posters in central points in Riesa and two other nearby urban centres as an additional communication medium. The banners on our factory gates also got an overhaul and now attract more attention. In addition, we booked a daily commercial break on Riesa’s local TV station.

But, of course, it is also possible to reach young people while they are at school: we are delighted to be able to promote our company at cooperating secondary schools in the form of roller banners.

Naturally, we can also be found at various exhibitions and traineeship fairs, where we showcase the wide range of traineeships that we have available.
