Quick, efficient and safe. In the third millennium the transport network has to be this and much more.

The transport of the future can't be anything but sustainable, especially in large cities such as Paris, and a new infrastructure development is coming to life in its very environs, which will connect Antony and Clamart. It's name is Tram T10.

This is a new tram line which snakes along a route of 8 km and passes through 14 stations. Travelling time between the two terminus points will be 25 minutes. Work is expected to be completed by 2023.

Presider Armatures was chosen by the customer, Eurovia (Vinci Group), to supply assembled framework for the plinths. The work commenced in September 2020, and Presider's operations will require 14 months to complete the work, which is scheduled for the end of 2021.

The assembled framework, amounting to approximately 250 tonnes, was produced at the Presider Armatures production facility in Saint-Soupplets, plus additional tonnes of custom-shaped rolls of steel.

The products were developed with ongoing consultation with the customer to identify the best solutions, and included a feasibility study.

“Contributing to this project has meant not only constructing ad hoc steel solutions, but also engaging continually with the customer, and involved a feasibility study.”
Rocco Russo, Commercial Manager at Presider Armatures
